Dive into the broad field of Military Studies! SJMS Talks is an academic podcast published by the journal, Scandinavian Journal of Military Studies (SJMS). The podcast aims to bridge the gap between peer-reviewed academic scholarship and current affairs. In the 25-minutes episodes, chief editor, Daniel Møller Ølgaard, invites one of the journal contributors to discuss recent developments related to their published research. SJMS Talks is published by the Scandinavian Journal of Military Studies. SJMS is an online, open access journal publishing both high quality research and practice-oriented studies relevant to the military profession. The journal welcomes submissions from a wide range of scholarly traditions including anthropology, sociology, philosophy, history, strategic studies, international relations, leadership and organization studies as well as security and defense politics. It is produced and published by the Royal Danish Defence College, the Norwegian Defence University College, the Swedish Defence University, the Centre for Military Studies at the University of Copenhagen and the Swedish Centre for Studies of Armed Forces and Society.
